Brook is a North Dakota–based writer who has always been drawn to stories about survival, transformation, and the quiet strength tucked inside ordinary people. She believes the best characters are the ones who don’t know they’re brave until life backs them into a corner.

 

When she isn’t writing, she’s with her husband and their three kids, who keep her grounded, laughing, and occasionally questioning her sanity in ways that would make excellent plot twists. She is rarely found without a book in one hand and a Diet Coke in the other, a combination she considers essential to both her creativity and her continued existence.
